R. Brett Lloyd, MD, PhD is Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University and the Program Director of the Adult Psychiatry Residency at Northwestern Medicine. His clinical research has focused on the assessment and management of chronic pain conditions and impact of illness on patient caregivers, as well as the use of simulation for high stakes scenarios in clinical practice and the validity of evaluation methods in residency training. Dr. Lloyd completed a consultation-liaison fellowship at Northwestern University, his residency at Emory University School of medicine, and his medical and doctorate degrees at the University of Cincinatti College of Medicine.
